Things Happen for a Reason
this is just something small that came to me just now during MOD.
so basically me, evan, daniel, matthew are all from fcbc and we're all in rv and we're all dancers. and me and evan are like the only 2 nus people in mod? anyway, while i was dancing this thought just came up.
of so many students in nus
of so many residences to stay at
what are the odds?
what are the odds that the only two people in nus in mod are staying in the same rc? one that not a lot of people apply to in the first place?
what are the odds that all 4 of us are dancers?
it really made me think - nothing happens for a reason.
God's got it all in His great plan. He placed us all there for a reason. evan didn't get accepted into capt for a reason. i didn't get accepted in kr hall for a reason. her application was forwarded to rv for a reason. i met rv seniors in cnm camp for a reason.
all these happened for a reason.
when we thought that everything was so sian and why did i get into the residence i wanted, God up there in Heaven was watching us and thinking "be patient, you'll see where this leads you to go. I don't want you staying there. i want you to stay here instead"
like really
what are the odds man? the fact that me and evan are both in mod and we're both in rv???
i'm just really so thankful la haha. like. i've known evan since we were in secondary school but i only started talking a little to her like maybe last year march-ish when i joined mod? and even then we were slightly awkward. but now? we've really become so much closer. probably because the fc people also met up and lot and we just got to spend a lot of time together.
and like the 4 of us all being dancers? holy nuts. i mean ya dancers quite common but still?? what are the odds man. can't help but feel like God's really planning something and we have to really listen and understand what we have to do? through dance. hm.
side note: i was thinking of using let's go as part of the finale song for rag 2018 and jn in mod we were learning the choreo of let's go. is this a sign hmmm hahahaha
but yeah, really. just thinking about it. like my train of thought just stops here but really this 巧合 also a bit too 巧 already right? hahahaha everything happens for a reason.
really just so thankful ah. that i got to meet these friends that i wouldve otherwise been strangers to (: kind of miss just chilling in matthew's room and either praying/sharing or actually just over there doing rubbish also quite nice hahaha. really want to be able to attend more cf stuff too. wanna meet the people there and everything (:
