FOOOOOOOOOD and fats ^^;;
so! after that ordeal for the first half of today, the good times finally came!!! decided to go back to turf city cos korkor wanted to good food so.... hahhahahhaa.
first thing we saw was dancing crab and daddy also saw it just now when he was waiting for us and i think it seemed like not a bad choice? idk i'm not really too familiar w all these eateries so i just go w what ppl tell me hahahhaha. and apparently it looks really popular too??? there was such a long queue wow and such a long waiting list wow even more. lolx. we had 8 ppl so i was expecting that it'd take 10 years before we were served. asked the person there and he said that it would take at least one and a half hours but it was ohkay la, since ahyongbiaoge wasn't here yet so no biggie~
and then we just decided to walk around cos we really had nothing to do la. and then oso maybe just see what would be around??? cos maybe a one and a half hour wait might not be worth it o.o but the funny thing is that the moment we reached the other end of the mall, daddy got a call that they had a table for us HAHA so yeah just went all the way back~
took some time before we actually got down to order food lol. just waited for kor to order everything cos guess who has eaten super good food???? not me :< haha. called ahyongbiaoge cos we didn't really want to start w/o them but we did in the end cos they knew that they were gonna be late and that we should start first.
FOOOOD. ordered one sri lankan crab w idk what sauce. it's the crab above. it comes in a combo (?) and so there're mussels and prawns and corn and carrot and sausage and potato.it was served in this somewhat spicy sauce.. didn't like it too much cos my mouth was on FIRE. ordered a dungeness (?) crab w butter herbs. it's great! my favourite xD and also i think the most expensive heh ^^;; and also lobster rolls which are great btw :3 and a seafood platter in which i only ate the prawn and the alaskan crab leg because me no eat shellfish that aren't crab, prawn and scallop. ahyongbiaoge was going on and on about how one should eat raw oysters and wah he sounded like some food expert hahha. mummy said it was really good but i'm glad that didn't try it cos xinhui said it tasted like blood HAHA. there was also garlic soy sauce chicken which was AMAZING. idk how they cooked it but it tasted divine.
one thing that's really cool about this place is that they actually just dump the food on your table and you can eat from it like that. there aren't utensils too so yay fun! xP but it was written that "if you decide to be a fancy pants, yes we do have utensils to use" but pls eating w hand then fun right!!!!!! xD
mummy did this cool trick w the chicken wing (i think it's quite a well-known one about removing the two bones in the wing so that you don't have to bother about the meat) and kor was so amazed by it hahahha. he was happy that he could eat one chunk of meat w/o having to care about bones xP
when i was eating the prawns, kindda sprayed (?) its brains on me ew. cos i was trying to pluck the head off but then i accidentally squeezed the brains out omg ewwwwwwwww..
they provided aprons and it was funny cos kor said that only people who don't know how to eat properly use it but then he accidentally got food on himself as well AHHAHAHA. i always use an apron cos guess who can't go one meal without accidentally getting food on herself?
had so much fun cutting up the crab w the crab scissors!!! they're so sharp omg!!!! like they can freaking cut through crab shell woah. there's also this thingy at the end to help dig out the crab meat WOW WHY CAN'T EVERYWHERE THAT SERVES CRAB GET THIS XP this is the first time i've seen it despite having eaten crab before. usually what i see is just that thingy to help crack the shell hahah
they finally came not too long later and they also ordered a crab combo, lobster rolls and seafood platter!
but wow they eat quite little??? we actually helped in finishing their food! it was nice tho (: fun to just be able to sit down like that xD xinhui whined quite a lot about how the school was giving them child labour and stuff lol. sounded really annoying and i know that if i were to be the student there i would've complained about it so so so much more LOL.
YES YOU HEARD ME RIGHT. idek why but i didn't feel full after eating this much??? like really i helped w ahyongbiaoge's family's food and yet i still wasn't full kay. if the other shops were open and we could buy dessert, i prolly would've omg what is wrong w me lol

and omg zhenjie's voice changed so much holy nuts almost didn't recognise his voice at first lor. it's so deep now and it could get even deeper omg wow!!!! wah can go be ravi alr voice so deep HAHHAHAHH. he got so tall too!!! xinhui's shorter than him now! he's only 12 and he's 160++ alr! he's a boy, so i'm gonna guess that he'll grow even taller than 170. will he reach 180? hopefully hahaha.
speaking of which, I KNEW IT. i knew hakyeon isn't 180 lor pls. mydol say he 179 then vixx say he 180. pls. he's only 178 or shorter lor. CRAP WHY ARE MY BIASES SHORT GUYS.
speaking of which, taemin's solo!!! the song's... ohkay???? idk not really my style o.o the dancing's cool tho. it's so dark and everything... i'm not someone who hates dark concepts (i mean look at vixx) but i this one looks really.... like dark for no reason????? idek. like it's just so... dark and there isn't like a definite concept that makes it dark? like vixx's dark concepts are vampires, jekyll and hyde and voodoo doll but this one is just like PLONK here a dark concept. maybe it's because i don't understand the lyrics but this doesn't really represent danger imo unless it's supposed to scare me and creep me out and stuff??
oh right ohkay back on topic. so yeah! posted the above two pix on insta and karen actually liked it! YAY. feel accomplished because guess who is so ngiao about photos??? must take like an actual photographer got idek what angle and what filter and what idek lor. lolx
followed kor on insta today! yay! hahahah he privated his acc and idk if he would want me to follow him so i didn't do anything until just now. asked if he had an insta and he told me yes and then i tagged him and he followed me so i followed back and yay~ followed xinhui too hahhaha. my following is increasing but i don't really feel that my feed has been increasing so that's good! ^^
on the way back just now was talking about dinner and i was saying how the alaskan crab leg was so big and daddy was just like "really meh? that one is quite small alr ohkay! the big ones are really very very big i eat before. but i've never seen the whole alaskan crab and apparently the biggest one is as big as a round table, like four feet or something" wow. ohkay :O
mummy had a 15% discount because of the card she used to pay but even after the discount, we still paid more than the original price because service charge because gst sigh hahhahahha
it's a good evening today~ hahahhaha. hope to go back there again soon! there's so much food there :3
