Be gracious and give up your seat or kena STOMP

So im on the bus now and there're a lot of tkgians cos we all just end sch and everything.

So im taking bus 43 now, and it's freaking crowded. So just now when i had just entered, there were A LOT of unfilled seats at the back of the bus. But no one was willing to sit in them.

Yes sure our journey to the mrt station is quite short but i guess if we were in civillian clothes we wouldve just sat down, right?

This leads me to think about stomp. Had the practice of stomping students who did not give up their seats been too common in the past that now all students are actually paranoid to sit in mrts and buses when we are in our school uniform?

it sure seems like it to me

In fact, the only time my schoolmates actually moved to sit down is when the bus driver stood up and scolded them for not sitting when there were so many empty seats at the back.

Even though the practice of stomping students not giving up their seats on public transport has long been abolished - most probably from the backlash that stompers would get once it gets on stomp - i think the damage has been done; students are now afraid (?) of sitting down when on public transport.

I'll admit that i'm part of this crowd with this paranoia. Honestly i feel that my school uniform makes it feel like im being watched every time im in my uni... i have to beware of what i say, what i do, etc. As im writing this, im actually walking so im a little bit worried i will kena stomp for being 低头租 lol.

But yeah... i usually wont sit even if there are a lot of empty seats when im in my uni cos of the stomping incidents last time.... i will only if there are PLENTY of empty seats...

Well, im at nex now gg to study so goodbye~

Hope™
