i would say it had something to do w my exams? we all want good results but we have to start studying and know the subjects from the basics first before we can obtain it. oh gosh does this even make sense? if it doens't i'm sorry ):
ohkay so i wanted to blog about my exam results.
idk if this still happens, but there're ppl that absolutely hate ppl to know their results. for whatever reason there is. i don't really get it. but anyway, i was never one to hide my results from others, no matter how badly or well i did in my exams. i'll just tell you. maybe not straight to your face, but i'll prolly give u clues on how much i got? haha xD
to start off, i was expecting to get a 2.8 or smth msg (the lower the better), but i ended up getting 3++ hhahaha xD i'm sowee if i crushed your non-existent expectations haha. no one can expect anything from me anyway
So! English! My listening was good, oral so-so, compo..... well... i guess so-so? and then my paper HAHAHHA. ohkay la. i guess my summary pulled me up? i forgot liao LOL. and i can't be bothered to go look at my exam paper :P got an A2 i think.
And Chinese. I IMPROVED YAY. from a C6 to C5!!!! ^^ but that might be because the paper was not set by xulaoshi haha. failed the compo though (ahem xulaoshi set it lol). was three marks away from passing. and lixin did so well omg HOW. TEACH ME OMG.
Math? MY MATH IS A JOKE I DON'T KNOW WHAT'S WRONG WITH IT. not that i'm complaining haha. it hit rock bottom every year for all my exams and then it suddenly takes crack and gets high during fyes ._. i'm not being complacent or anything, but the same thing happened last year ohkay. AND I ONLY MEMORISED FORMULAS I'M SERIOUS. so now we know. to do well in math, just memorise all the formulas :P got an A2.
Bio! at first, i did half a mark worse than cas. but then because of this one q, i gained a mark and did half a mark better!! ^o^ the question is about the juices taken from the pancreas and from the gallbladder and tested with proteins or smth. the initial answer was that the juice from the pancreas would digest the proteins. BUT. the juice in the pancreas (why am i not just calling it pancreatic juice lmao) has trypsinogen. which is INACTIVE. it didn't come in contact w enterokinase from the intensinal juice to become trypsin. to by right it couldn't have digested the proteins. but i didn't bother to say anything lol. i guess someone did and i got one more mark!! :DD poor thing for ravi though, she lost a mark ): like usual, an A1. not being cocky. this is the only subject that i actually excel in lor.
Chem... hahahha no hope liao :P COMPLETELY SKIPPED ONE WHOLE QUESTION THAT COULD HAVE ALLOWED ME TO JUMP A GRADE OMG I CRY. i dont even know how i missed it ohkay!!!! only found out when i was checking through my answers and realised that i didn't answer that q. and it's not even like on another piece of paper that i forgot to secure ohkay. cos the answer for the next q was on the other page!!!! TT.TT turns out no one made fun of my end point thing lol. heng. and then after that C3, according to the examiners, was supposed to be the easiest that pulled us up. WELL GUESS WHAT. i got a zero for that section xP a B3.
SS.... i did worse than i expected idek. meh. i don't have much to say about it so whatever. if i'm wrong a B4 or C5 i guess.
Lit. i did better than i expected hahahahah. my section a pulled me up when i expected my section b to be my life buoy though lol. B3
Amath? LOL. LOLOL. LOLOLOL. screwed that shit up. was a mark away from E8 :P i would show you my paper, but idk if it's illegal or wtv to show. so wtv. the front page was loaded w formulas xP and then the back page filled w drawings. cos i got so bored in script checking so throughout that hour plus-long script checking, i drew on my whole paper xD an F9
what subject(s) do i have left?
oh right. geog. well. idk what to say about that other than ONE MARK GOT DOCKED COS I WROTE "sketch of volcano in fig 7 (or whatever, i can't rmb)" INSTEAD OF "sketch of stratovolcano" DAMMIT THAT ONE MARK I THINK COULD'VE BROUGHT ME TO MY NEXT MARK KAY. i think i got B4?

there was something i wanted to say. but guess what? i forgot ._. while others worry about a tapeworm growing in their stomach, i worry about if i have some sort of disease which i forget everything easily.
speaking of which, i think my attention span has been deteriorating lately. rmb that night where i couldnt sleep? for fun, i took an attention span and hyperactivity test. turns out i have a high chance of an attention problem and a moderate chance of hyperactivity. lol. jkjk. let's not curse ourselves into having issues, yeah? xP
just texted dad. hopefully he'll let me go (: -fingers crossed- pls dont call me daddy.
